The Lawrence Park Volunteer Fire Department, goes well beyond emergency response by conducting fire safety programs at local elementary schools, offering Fire Hall tours for Safety Town students, and lending a hand at community events like Halloween. The department also plays a special role in celebrating the students of Iroquois Jr. Sr. High School, participating in the annual band championship parade to honor the school’s marching band and showing up for the beloved yearly pep rally to help fire up school spirit.
